Who can use Squarelly You must create an account with accurate, truthful information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Verification and trust Squarelly uses a multi-level verification system. Users can verify their email address, phone number, and payment method. Full identity verification is completed through Stripe Identity using a government-issued photo ID and a liveness check. Higher verification levels increase your trust standing on the platform and may unlock additional features.
Listings All property listings must contain accurate information, genuine photographs, and full disclosure of material facts. Listings must comply with Maltese law and must not contain discriminatory content. Squarelly reviews listings before publication and reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms.
The contact fee Renters pay a 2% contact fee to unlock direct communication with a landlord or property manager. This fee is only charged after the landlord confirms the property is available — or if the renter chooses to proceed knowing the property is not yet available. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
What Squarelly is not responsible for Squarelly is a marketplace platform — not a letting agency, party to any rental agreement, or guarantor of any listing's accuracy, safety, or availability. Users engage with each other directly and at their own discretion.
Prohibited conduct Users must not post false or misleading content, harass other users, attempt to bypass platform systems, share contact details to avoid the contact fee, scrape platform content, or engage in any discriminatory practices.
Termination Squarelly may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Users may also close their own account at any time via our support form.
Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
